CIADE Awards – Best Project

Vaelsys Formación y Desarrollo has acquired the first position in the 3rd Edition of the University Entrepreneur Awards (Premio al Emprendedor Universitario). The proclamation occurred the 11th of July 2005 and was made by a Jury composed of the sponsoring entities Caja Madrid Foundation (Fundación Caja Madrid), ACS Foundation (Fundación ACS) and the Alfonso Martín Escudero Foundation (Fundación Alfonso Martín Escudero) and became public at the Autonomous University of Madrid (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid). The Jury valued the project’s investigation and innovation nature in new technologies, particularly, in the fields of Biometrics, Security and Artificial Intelligence.

 

11th Edition of the Bancaja Awards for Young Entrepreneurs

Vaelsys has received one of the prizes at the Eleventh Edition for Young Entrepreneurs awarded for the first time in Spain, each one of them given a value of 15.000€. The entity has granted fifteen awards to company projects at the Balearic Islands, Las Palmas, Santander, Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón, Alicante and Madrid. The participation at this Edition has increased in 91% compared to the previous one, with 190 entrepreneurial projects presented.

 

The Neti Project

The Enterprise Institute (IE), Amena and the Banespyme School have awarded Vaelsys the prize to the Best Entrepreneurial Project in the 11th Edition of the Project NETI Awards. This initiative is aiming at stimulating the creation of technology companies in Spain. The ceremony was attended by Amena’s general director, Belarmino García, Banesto’s managing director managing director, José García Cantera, and IE’s president, Diego Alcázar.

 

Vivero Award 2006- SIMO

Vaelsys Formación y Desarrollo, a technology company from Madrid that develops artificial vision solutions for video surveillance cameras (CCTV), has obtained the 2006 Vivero Award, a prize given by Fundetec to the best project presented at this Vivero area’s Edition, one of the novelties at SIMO Fair 2006. Today the company has been handed a cheque amounting 9.000€ by Madrid’s major, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón. In charge of selecting a winner the Jury, composed by Juan Soto, Simo’s Organization Committee’s President, Álvaro Arenzana, Joint Manager at the Development Institute of Madrid (IMADE) and Alfonso Arbaiza, Fundetec’s Joint Director, has valued the product’s innovative character, its important R&D features, its scope and applicability, as well as its possibilities from a social and entrepreneurial point of view.
